TEMPO Interactive: A cargo vessel carrying food supplies were reported capsized on Monday night in the Flores Sea at about 10 PM local time (9 PM Jakarta Time). The accident was occured around two miles north of Gili Trawangan beach in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

The navy, the water police, and search and rescue team were searching for the ship's crew. There were 12 crew reported on the ship. A port official said the captain of the ship managed one call to another ship to report the accident.

A port official in West Lombok, Lembar Thahir told Tempo on Tuesday morning the probable cause for the accident was a technical problem with the ship as the weather were quite clear on Monday night.
