TEMPO Interaktif, Jakarta : Tax Directorate General have seized back Asian Agri tax documents at the company's office in Central Jakarta on Tuesday minuets after the documents were taken to be returned to the company.
Head of the Law Division of Radja Garuda Mas Group, parent company of Asian Agri supervised the confiscation after the tax office took the documents under heavy police guard to the Asian Agri office.
The tax office was investigating the Rp 1,3 trillion tax evasion allegations against the agriculture business since 2007 which made the business filed a report to the South Jakarta District Court to hear the case.
The tax office took back the documents for furter investigation on tax evasion today, despite the South Jakarta District Court ruling which favoured the business' complain over the checking of its documents by the tax office.
