TEMPO.CO, Jakarta-Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo is ready to face the decision of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) on provincial minimum wage. “When we are sued, we can lose or win. Both are normal,” Jokowi said on Monday, April 19, at the City Hall.
Jokowi promised to accept and sign any decision made by PTUN. “When the investigation is done and the results are sent to my table, I will sign it,” he said.
The governor claimed that he has checked the financial condition of the companies, as well as the condition on the field regarding the matter, yet he understands the reason for the suing.
Earlier, Jokowi raised the provincial minimum wage in DKI Jakarta. However, the National Workers Union (SPN) sued him for allowing seven companies to postpone minimum wage implementation.
