TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 is officially ended with Dewi Fashion Knights' fashion show presenting collections of Indonesian top designers such as Oscar Lawalatta, Priyo Octaviano, Tex Saverio and Titin Januar.
"This year's Jakarta Fashion Week is the best one compared to the previous events. I really thank all of the related parties, designers, models, buyers, media and other parties," said Svidia Alisjahbana the General Chairman of 2014 Jakarta Fashion Week during her speech on Friday, October 25.
Under the theme "Tales of Goddess" the selected Indonesian designers showed off their very own perspective of The Goddess as a modern woman. This achievement had proven the designers' active roles in running Indonesia fashion world.
The Minister of Trade, Gita Wirjawan stated his appreciation for the success of the show.
"This is a pride, JFW reflects Indonesia culture and heritage which is packaged in a fashion event," he said at the Tenant Show, Senayan City, also saying that the Ministry of Trade will continue to support the event.
