TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo has appreciated the communication that is built by the land clearing team of Jakarta Outer Ring Road West 2 (JORRW 2). The team and residents have agreed on the price of land clearing after no settlement for months.
"Everyone is happy and accepting, because when I talked to the team yesterday, the delay was due to lack of socialization," he said in Jakarta on Friday, December 6, 2013. According to the governor, the key to the problem’s solution was communication.
He said that mere communication from officers to the public was not enough. Every parties who are involved in the matter, such as the District Chief, City Mayor and residents, have to sit together to find a solution for the problem.
According to Jokowi, with the finalization of payment process for the tracks of land in South Petukangan, South Jakarta, the project could be completed in a short time. He expected that if this project was completed, traffic jam problems in the Capital City will be resolved.
