TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Governor Joko "Jokowi" Widodo said that his deputy, Basuki "Ahok" Tjahaja Purnama, knows Jakarta inside out , allowing him to leave for presidency in peaceful thought.
"[Ahok] knows all about Jakarta. He knows what to do, he knows everything," said Jokowi. Therefore, he feels like he does not need to give a special memo for Ahok when he takes the presidential seat, leaving Ahok to assume the Jakarta Governor position.
However, Jokowi admitted that he will leave tons of assignments for Ahok. "I have plenty [to leave]," said Jokowi.
Jokowi explained that future assignments for Ahok will include managing flood, traffic, and housing. "We have a lot to prioritize, particularly those in relation to Jakarta traffic, flood, and housing," Jokowi said.
