TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – President Joko Widodo is scheduled to check on the preparations for the much-anticipated Asia-Africa Conference (AAC) anniversary event in Bandung, West Java, on Thursday, April 16, 2015.
The president is slated to leave for Bandung on the presidential jet at around 10 a.m.
Presidential chief of staff Luhut Binsar Panjaitan said the preparations for the AAC had nearly been completed 100 percent.
Luhut also confirmed the news that the president would arrive in Bandung on Thursday to inspect the event’s preparations.
