TEMPO.CO, JakartaMalaysia's Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA 2) experienced trouble in its check-in and baggage systems since yesterday, August 21, creating a long line at check-in counters. It also resulted in the delay of 20 flights of Emirates and ANA.

The corrupted systems include the flight schedule, check-in counter, baggage claim, and wifi connection. The system disruption occurred at the main terminal and low-cost carrier terminal.

Airport management, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd., stated it had repaired the system and that all of the troubled systems have returned to normal since 10:41 Kuala Lumpur time on Thursday, August 22.

Previously, AirAsia Group CEO Tony Fernandes said he witnessed a long line at the airport's check-in counters, saying that it was the worst scene he had ever seen.
