Greater Jakarta Area Rainless for a Week, BMKG Forecasts

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts clear skies wabove Jakarta and areas in its vicinity starting on Monday, September 23, and will last for the whole week.
The BMKG website predicts no weather changes for the next three days and no weather alerts will be issued.
A similar situation is also forecast to take place in Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi, as the regions that make up the Jakarta Greater Area (Jabodetabek) will see clear skies.
The agency forecasts that the temperature will hover around 24-34 degree Celsius with air humidity at 65-85 percent, accompanied by winds breezing at average speeds of 28 kilometers-per-hour.
The BMKG only issues an early warning for strong winds that may hit areas in North of Bogor, south, and west of Sukabumi, South Cianjur, Pangandaran, Southern Tasikmalaya, and South Garut from noon lasting through the night.
