AP II Expects 3.4mn Passengers Traffic in Soekarno-Hatta Airport

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Angkasa Pura II (AP2) predicts 3.48 million people will be passing through Soekarno-Hatta Airport during Christmas and New Year holidays, which is from December 19 to January 6, 2020. The figure reflects a 1-percent increase from last year's passenger traffic.
The airline operator also predicts 23,397 flights.
AP2 president director Muhammad Awaluddin said the airport is seeing an increase in demands for extra flights, which had now reached 1,031 flights.
"This figure can still continue to grow," he said in a written statement Tempo received on Friday, December 13.
Awaluddin ensured that the operation of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport will run smoothly under high service standards during the Christmas and New Year period. The management focuses on three elements; staff adequacy, optimizing SOPs, and ensuring that all facilities are functioning well.
