TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Heavy rains poured over Jakarta have caused floods in a number of locations. As a result, several Transjakarta bus routes are put out of service, while a number of other routes are shortened or redirected, on Friday, January 24, 2020.
Transjakarta’s official Twitter account, @PT_Transjakarta, points out that the Corridor 9 route, Pinang Ranti-Pluit, was shortened to Pinang Ranti-Grogol 2 as there was a puddle of water around the Penjaringan area, North Jakarta. Furthermore, Route 12E: History of Jakarta Explorer cannot transport passengers as water puddled around Jalan R.E. Martadinata.
Continuing on, Route 12M, Sunter Boulevard-Harmoni, and Corridor 12 Sunter Kelapa Gading-Penjaringan cannot serve passengers due to the floods in the Sunter Jaya area. As for Route 10F, Sunter Kelapa Gading-Kelapa Gading LRT Station, it is currently not in operation due to heavy flooding in Kelapa Gading area.
On top of that, Route 1P, Senen-Senayan Roundabout, is being redirected due to flooding around Jalan H. Agus Salim. The route will temporarily not pass through the stops of Danareksa and Wisma Mandiri. Similarly, Route 1R, Senen-Tanah Abang Station, is also being redirected due to the flooding around Jl. H. Agus Salim. Just like before, Route 1R does not pass through the stops of Danareksa and Wisma Mandiri.
