413 New Covid-19 Cases Recorded in East Java

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government spokesman for Covid-19 mitigation Achmad Yurianto, said that East Java records the highest number of new Covid-19 cases as of Saturday, July 4, 2020.
"East Java reported 413 new cases with 100 recovered patients," Yurianto said in an online press conference broadcasted through the National Disaster Management Agency official Youtube channel on Saturday, July 4, 2020.
Following East Java, Jakarta recorded the second-highest new Covid-19 cases with 223 new infected patients and 268 recovered patients.
Meanwhile, South Sulawesi recorded 195 new Covid-19 cases with 41 patients successfully recovered.
In addition, Central Java recorded 110 new Covid-19 cases with 50 patients recovered followed by Bali with 91 new Covid-19 cases, and 24 patients recovered.
Yurianto explained that in total, there are 1,447 new Covid-19 cases recorded. He added that not all of the new patients are being treated in hospitals.
"Bed occupancy rate of hospitals for Covid-19 patients is only 53.5 percent," Yurianto concluded.
