Basri, who was on the list of 26 persons most wanted by the police, was captured nearly at the same time as another fugitive Ardin Lawanga, 35.There was no resistance to the raid for Basri as the Poso Police caught him sleeping in a house behind Al-Khairat Kindergarten, Kayamanya subdistrict, Poso CityHowever, Ardin Lawanga did resist as he fired but his struggle ended after a bullet fired by a member of the police hit him in the stomach.The police then brought the wounded Ardin to Bhayangkara Hospital, Poso City. Ardin tried to trick the police by telling them that other fugitives escaped on a boat to the Poso Bay. However, the police boat patrol that had been on guard since morning did not see any boat sailing away.When the two fugitives were in the process of being arrested, the situation in Kayamanya sub-district was tense.
